Vampires, werewolves and ghosts: Being Human comes to BBC America

Being Human is about the secret lives of three twentysomethings as a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost—debuts on BBC America on July 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow and Aidan Turner star as housemates trying to live normal lives, despite their strange and dark secrets.

George (Tovey) and Mitchell (Turner) work in anonymous drudgery as hospital porters. They lead lives of quiet desperation under the burden of a terrible secret: Mitchell’s a vampire and George a werewolf. Deciding to start life afresh and leave behind the dark side, they move into a house, only to find that Annie, the ghost of a woman killed in mysterious circumstances, haunts it.

This is a VERY good series!! I hope everyone gets a chance to watch it.

SG-1’s Michael Shanks guest stars on Sanctuary

Former Stargate SG-1 star Michael Shanks will appear in an episode of SCI FI’s Sanctuary in its upcoming second season.

Shanks reunites with his former SG-1 co-star Amanda Tapping, who stars in and produces Sanctuary, in episode 209, entitled “Penance,” which begins filming next week in Vancouver, Canada; he’ll play a character named Jimmy.

The episode is written by Alan McCullough, a former Stargate scribe who has joined the Sanctuary team full-time this year.

Episode 9 will probably air in early December.

Shanks will also be seen in an episode of SCI FI’s upcoming Stargate Universe, reprising the role of Dr. Daniel Jackson.

Sanctuary follows the adventures of the beautiful, enigmatic and always surprising Dr. Helen Magnus (Tapping), a brilliant scientist who holds the secrets of a clandestine population—a group of strange and sometimes terrifying beings that hide among humans. Along with forensic psychiatrist Dr. Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne), they seek to protect these threatened phenomena as well as unlock the mysteries behind their existence.

Sanctuary returns with 13 new episodes in the fall.

TWJ – Greenville, KY to Greenfield, TN

I picked up a run this morning in Greenville, KY. It was just one skid of unfolded cardboard boxes.

I dropped it off in Greenfield, TN.

After I got unloaded, I drove home and brought my van to the shop to get the transmission flushed and filled and the A/C fixed.

TWJ – Mall of America

I took this video May 28th 2009 in Bloomington, Minnesota at the Mall of America.

Most of the video is at the Undersea Adventures where you walk through a tunnel surrounded by an aquarium. It is very cool and I hope you enjoy it.
