New Star Trek XI: The Gag Reel

A gag reel from Star Trek XI has hit the Internet ahead of the November 17th release of the DVD and Blu-ray sets.
Laughter, bleeped expletives, dancing, drumming, and other hijinks makes the six-minute-plus gag reel seem like it finishes in only half the time.“It’s a good thing I’m drunk,” says John Cho in one scene. In another scene where Spock is preparing to fly the Jellyfish for the first time, Kirk and Spock speak their lines with faux accents, trying but failing to keep straight faces.
Even the kids get in on the act. “Citizen, what is your name?” asks an officer pulling over a young Jim Kirk back in Iowa. “Bryan Burk,” what’s yours?” says the young man, never cracking a smile.
This short gag real is pretty funny in some places, but in several places the clips go by too quick to really tell what was going on.I hope you enjoy it.
EDIT: Sorry folks. It looks like it has been taken off-line.

Movie Trailer: Disney’s A Christmas Carol

Synopsis:
“Disney’s A Christmas Carol,” a multi-sensory thrill ride re-envisioned by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis, captures the fantastical essence of the classic Dickens tale in a groundbreaking 3-D motion picture event. Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it’s too late.
This is the first long preview I have seen for Disney’s A Christmas Carol and I have to say, I think I am really looking forward to seeing this movie.
TWJ: Hatfield, Indiana – Toledo, Ohio
Today, I drove from Hatfield, Indiana up to Toledo, Ohio where I am going in for orientation with a new company tomorrow morning. Pretty busy going through Cincinnati, Ohio and a lot of rain in places, but not too bad a run.
BTW, it is 68 degrees F right now and POURING down rain.
Duct taped window
What do you do if you have a broken window and can’t afford to buy a new one? Well, let’s just say I love duct tape. Of course, after I posted this picture on Twitter, someone said they did the same thing except with clear packing tape. I think I have some clear duct tape around the house, so I guess I may have to redo the window. hehe
Today’s lunch
Today’s lunch, a hamburger with french fries and ketchup. I love ketchup. hehe
Eating this while making some beans for dinner tonight and watching “Alien Earths” from the National Geographic channel on the DVR.

Brett Favre back in the NFL

The Minnesota Vikings say they have a deal to bring Brett Favre back to the NFL.
The 39-year-old quarterback took a plane to Minnesota on Tuesday, drove to Vikings training camp and was in a helmet and pads less than 90 minutes after arriving. His practice jersey was the familiar No. 4, the same number he wore for years with the rival Packers.
The team confirmed a deal was done to The Associated Press, but terms were not immediately disclosed.
This is Favre’s second comeback. A year ago, the former Packers star came out of a short retirement to join the Jets.
