TV Review: Doctor Who: The Vampires of Venice

I just finished watching Doctor Who season 5 episode 6 called The Vampires of Venice. With a scene like the picture above with the vampy chicks, I just had to watch this one. It wasn’t too bad. The story was good and the special effects were good for the most part, but it wasn’t as scary as I was hoping for.

Here is the trailer for you to watch if you have not seen it yet.

Spoiler Alert

Do not read if you don’t want to know about the show until you see it.

One of the things I like about this season so far is the little things you pick up each week that is leading to something bigger later this season, or perhaps next season. It reminds me of the old cliffhangers of the olden days. Anyway, when the lady “vampire” mentions about the crack, you can’t help but wonder if it is the same crack at the beginning of the season and where this is going to take us. And with Rory along for the ride now, this could be a very interesting season as long as they don’t start having love scenes all the time.

Arthur Darvill … Rory Williams

Alisha Bailey … Isabella
